Back in London and it feels like it’s been so, so long. Walking around Bloomsbury over the last few days has filled me with nostalgia, and a slight sense of sadness. While living the nomadic life, I guess one always has a slight yearning for stability; yet when I am stuck in one place, all I want to do is escape. I’m also missing Joona terribly; the weather is bad and the days are short, and I’m probably contemplating the meaning of life a little too often.

So, it’s been ten days. Ten fun-filled, jam-packed, mind-blowing days. I’ve met so many fantastic, beautiful new people (and they’re all wonderful photographers on top of this), and feel like I’ve learnt a lot in just the first two weeks of the one-year MA Photojournalism and Documentary Photography course that I’m now on. It is exciting!

I’ll be using this blog from now on to talk about my progress on the course, to display pictures I take for the course assignments and projects, and also to talk about life and my other interests in general. I’m really looking forward to the year ahead, and can’t wait to see huge improvement when I come back to the start, next January. We’ll see!

With all your heart
Stop the stream.
When the world dissolves
Everything becomes clear.
Go beyond
This way or that way,
To the farther shore
Where the world dissolves
And everything becomes clear.
Beyond this shore
And the farther shore,
Beyond the beyond,
Where there is no beginning,
No end.
Without fear, go.
